Dragonfruit Pitaya Bowl

If you know me, then you know I LOVE smoothie bowls. They're honestly the perfect way to start your day as they're loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and they keep you nice and full for several hours. I've posted my Acai Bowl recipe on my Instagram a few times, but I've been switching it up to a yummy Dragonfruit/Pitaya Bowl lately and have been loving it.

What You'll Need:

+ 1 Frozen Dragonfruit packet (I buy the frozen packs at Whole Foods - brand is Pitayaplus)

+ Frozen Strawberries

+ 1/4 Almond Milk

+ 1 Banana

+ Blueberries

+ Granola (I like the KIND brand - gluten free cinnamon oat clusters)

+ Chia Seeds

+ Honey

(I'll also blend in some collagen powder and beauty dusts - will do a separate post on my favorites very soon!).

1. In a blender (I use this one - it's cute, efficient, and $15), I pour in the almond milk, half of a banana, and frozen strawberries (about 5 pieces). Then I run the dragonfruit under hot water (while it's still in the packet) to thaw it and throw that in. Then blend!

2. Once blended, I pour it into an Instagrammable bowl and top with my (or your) favorite ingredients. I use granola, the other half of the banana, blueberries, chia seeds, and honey.
