Products for DRY Skin

I have a serious love/hate relationship with Vegas. Love the vibe there, absolutely hate how dry it makes my skin. Never fails, 12 hours in and I have dry patches on my face, my hands look like an 89 year old woman’s hands, and my arms are lizard skin - the worst. Will that stop me from going? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

When I arrived back in LA, I raided my skincare cabinet and took out the best products I own for dry skin. Using them both morning and night, I woke the next morning and my skin was hydrated and back to normal HALLELUJAH. Below, I’ll be sharing all the products I used in order. So if you have dry + dehydrated skin, these will definitely help!

Moisturizing Toner

After cleansing, I apply this toner. I love how it’s a moisturizing toner with ceramides. Ceramides are necessary for dry skin. They replenish the natural lipids in our skin, replenish moisture, and create a barrier to lock in that moisture.

Hyaluronic Acid

I use this HA Serum I purchased from Trader Joes (it’s cheap, but works wonders). Hyaluronic Acid is a humectant which is a moisture-binding ingredient that retains your skin’s moisture and keeps it plump and hydrated.

Power Infusing Concentrate

Concentrates are perfect to use after serum and before moisturizer as it’ll make your moisturizer more effective. This one specifically hydrates, makes your skin firmer, and really boosts the effects of my moisturizer.

Ceramidin Cream

Again, ceramides are v important when it comes to dry skin. This moisturizer is extremely hydrating (but, not sticky or heavy) and I love using it when I feel like my skin is lacking hydration.

Oils should be the last step in your skincare routine (yes, after moisturizer) as they seal everything beneath and allow it to penetrate better. This specific oil is brand new from Sunday Riley and I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and I’m in LOVEEEEEE. I received it in my Allure Beauty Box, so it’s not available yet at Sephora or anywhere for that matter, but once it is I’ll let you guys know!

Get ready to say BYEEEEEEEE to all that dryness and hello to fresh, hydrated, glowy AF skin!
